SUMMARY:February PUG Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The February theme is OPEN \nMeeting location: Mt. Vernon Church of Christ\, 120 N. Mt. Vernon Ave Prescott\, Arizona \nIf you’d like to lead a song or suggest one\, please email song in pdf format to prescottukes@gmail.com\, a week before the meeting. \nWe will have a projection screen for this meeting but please download songs or print them. Wifi will be iffy. As usual we’ll have a couple of spotlights featuring PUG members. \nThe room opens at 6pm and the meeting starts at 6:15 pm. Agenda is below instead of being read at meeting. Songs can be downloaded on the Songbook page under Monthly meeting. No noodling or talking when someone is speaking. There will be a donation Jar at the meeting for Free Ukulele lessons\, scholarships and much more. \nOur next meeting will be THUR February 6th\, 2025 at the Mt. Vernon Church of Christ\, 120  N. Mt. Vernon Ave. in Prescott (on Mt. Vernon\, between Gurley and Willis Streets).  Doors open at 6:00pm but meeting does not start until6:15. \nMEETING SCHEDULE \n\nFEB’s Theme:                            OPEN\nEmcee for  FEB 6TH:              CRYSTAL\nSpotlight Performers:\n\nFEB: (1) DAVE & MARNI (2 SONGS) ; and (2) CRYSTAL & DEBRA T.(1 or 2 SONGS)\n\n\nSingalong Leaders :\n\nDOREEN (4songs);\nSTRUMMIN UKES (4songs);\n CRYSTAL (2songs)\nUKULADIES +1 (2songs);\nPANIOLO UKES (2 songs).\n\n\nTheme for MAR:                      STORIES/BALLADS\n\nAny questions or comments or suggestions can be directed to our website at www.prescottukuleleguild.org OR talk with a Steering Committee Member after the meeting.\n \nUPCOMING:\n\n\nVA HOSP:  Sunday\, JAN 19\, 2025: arrive 1:30; play 2pm. Meet in front of ER doors.\n\n\nFREE BEGINNER CLASS:  Wednesdays 5:30-6:15 pm for 8 weeks. Jan 22 thru March 19 (no class Feb 19) at 235 N Marina St.\, Prescott (‘Tis Gallery Art Education Center).\n\n\nWORKSHOP/CONCERT:  On hold until May 2025.\n\n\n\nPRESENTATION BY CRYSTAL:   Timing\, as in how to start a song.\n\n\n\nDUES 2025:  Announced at DEC mtg that dues of $36 (exact cash or check made out to MARNI RANDLE) is due at JAN 2nd meeting.  Dues for NEW MEMBERS will be prorated $3 per month.\n\n\n \n\n\nPOSITION OPEN:  MARNI asked that we look for another treasurer for next year.  See MARNI for details.  She says it’s not hard ….\n\n\nPOSITION FILLED:  KASIA was voted Official PUG photographer\, YAY!\n\n\nC-ya!\nYOUR STEERING COMMITTEE: Crystal E.\, Debbie L.\, Donna G.\, Marni R.\, Pete V.\, and Doreen C.
