IN-HOUSE INFO:
Sad to report: Charles Post (Chuck) died Aug. 26, 2026, after an uphill battle with multiple myeloma, kidney failure, and dementia, but all the while he kept his sense of humor and his gentleness. He was co-founder of the Prescott Ukulele Guild along with Dr. Will Fisher. He played ukulele in a group called the Sand Fleas. Chuck loved making music with his friends, sharing his talent and his smiles. He will be sorely missed. If you are so moved, you can leave a comment about Chuck on the PUG Facebook or Nextdoor Pages.
MEMBERSHIP/DUES: We currently have 56 members! ANNUAL DUES IS DUE JANUARY 2027!!! The reception table is able to accept dues at the NOV, DEC, and JAN meetings. Please make your prorated check made payable to Prescott Ukulele Guild. Some people do not write checks — apparently! — so we will accept EXACT cash but please be sure to get a receipt. Annual dues is $36 per person — that’s $3 a month! If you are a new member OR spend the winters out of town, you can deduct $3 for every month you were not here.
BYLAWS: The Bylaws for PUG have been updated and will be posted on the website under “about us”. There is information concerningsubgroups in there so we ENCOURAGE you to read them.
