Doors open at 6:00pm but meeting does not start until 6:15*. Please do not block the aisles! Please sit where you can see the projection wall, which is left of center. Our meeting ends at 7:30-ish.

*New* SPOTLIGHT PERFORMERS: For your safety, only PETE and TIM are allowed on the stage above the steps after 6pm. Spotlight performers and Song Leaders to only use the mics & stands at bottom of steps.

OR … just use the TIPS JAR on the reception table as a Suggestion Box. Paper and pens will be provided next to it.

PUG ANNUAL PICNIC at THUMB BUTTE GROUP PAVILION: As of today there are 24 PUG members signed up for the picnic and 11 guests (not all guests are paid for as yet) PLEASE bring $10 in cash or check (payable to Prescott Ukulele Guild) to pay for your guest(s). Sorry, no refunds for no shows since we have already ordered the food. Last chance to register for PICNIC and pay for any guests will be at the PUG meeting on August 6th!
PUG MEMBERS’ food is FREE but Guests are $10 per plate per person. Food from Ohana Hawaiian BBQ: Teriyaki Chicken, Beef, Pork, steamed vegies, mac salad w/o tuna, and rice. Broccoli Salad and Birthday Cake provided by PUG.
There will be a BUY & SELL table again this year, with Crystal in charge. Email Crystal at prescottukes@gmail.com if you have any questions or to let her know you are bringing something. There will be a FOR SELL LIST on the table for seller’s name and item with seller’s suggested price. You need to contact the seller at the Picnic to discuss details — everyone will wear a name tag or … we can announce on microphone who you are looking for!
There is also a Spotlight Sign-Up Sheet if you choose to perform or lead us in a song (bring your devices or paper to hand out bc there is NO PROJECTION SYSTEM). Sound equipment will be under the Pavilion cover in case it rains AND we like the acoustics better there!
FREE BEGINNER CLASS:
New session will be on WEDs from 3 to 3:45 pm for 8 weeks starting Sept 9, 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28.
Location at 235 N. Marina, Prescott at ‘Tis Gallery Art Education Center. $1 suggested donation per each 45 min class (to cover facility charge). If you have questions or want to reserve your spot, please email CRYSTAL at prescottukes@gmail.com.

CAMPING & UKES at ZANE GREY RV VILLAGE CAMP VERDE:
Show up for the day OR there are FULLY EQUIPPED cabins and RV parking available to rent for overnighters. Reserve at https://zanegreyrv.com/ Check with PETE who “may” have 1 free room available (for current PUG member) at local casino. Secret word is “KASIA”!
Campground provides a group covered pavilion with tables and a projection system/screen! Hot dogs/condiments provided by DEBBIE but please bring a side dish (chips/dip or salad) to share and your own drinks. Talk to DEBBIE or send email to prescottukes@gmail.com for more info. MEMBERSHIP/DUES: We currently have 52 members! Please make your prorated check made payable to Prescott Ukulele Guild. Some people do not write checks — apparently! — so we will accept EXACT cash but please be sure to get a receipt. Annual dues is $36 per person — that’s $3 a month! If you are a new member OR spend the winters out of town, you can deduct $3 for every month you were not here.
BYLAWS: The Bylaws for PUG have been updated and will be posted on the website under “about us”. There is information concerningsubgroups in there so you will want to read them.
