Doors open at 6:00pm but meeting does not start until 6:15. Please do not block the aisles! Please sit where you can see the projection wall, which is left of center. Our meeting ends at 7:30-ish and we all should be out of the church by 8pm.

VA HOSPITAL: WED July 4th at 1:30pm. Please arrive at 1:00pm. Meet at the VA Hosptal’s CLC entrance which is next to their Emergency Room entrance. Use Parking Lots C and D. Please speak to MARNI or DONNA for more info or send email toprescottukes@gmail.com. Songs should be on the PUG website.
FREE BEGINNER CLASS: WEDs 3:00 to 3:45 pm for 8 weeks: May 20, 27, June 3, 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 2026. FREE classes will be held at Tis Gallery on Marina Street (parking in alley behind building or in front on Marina). Flyer is on the PUG Facebook page and website. While the class is FREE, please consider a small donation to offset costs. You can register for a seat and ask questions atprescottukes@gmail.com.
PUG PICNIC: Aug 29 @ Thumb Butte Group Pavillon. There will be a BUY/SELL/TRADE table again. Any suggestions as to what you would want to see / hear / eat at the Picnic is appreciated.
CAMPING & UKES: DEBBIE has scheduled a camp&uke event on TUE Oct 20, 2026 at the Zane Grey campground in Camp Verde. There are cabins (fully equipped) and RV parking available to rent for overnighters. Can also show up for just the day. Campground provides tables with cover and a projection system/screen! Hot dogs/condiments provided by DEBBIE but please bring a salad to share. Talk to DEBBIE or send email toprescottukes@gmail.com for more info. Sounds like fun, thank you DEBBIE!
· CARPOOL: Some members can’t or don’t want to drive at night or for those who need to save gasoline, A CARPOOL LIST will be at the reception table — Thank you, Kathy!
· JAM AT COURTHOUSE CORNER: Sunday, June 14 – 2:30 pm. Enjoy a summer day in downtown Prescott jamming on your ukulele. Other instruments invited too! Bring a chair, a music stand, and printed music to pass around….or not…. We will make it work. Or, just come and listen!
FULL MOON JAM AT WATSON LAKE (dates to be determined): DONNA is going to check on times for full moon rising for end of MAY, JUNE, & JULY. End of AUG is day before the PUG picnic so don’t really want to do AUG. Possibly sing on dock? Possibly familiar 3-chord songs? Kayak rentals are available (with little lamps) to stay out after dark during full moons. Talk to DONNA, PETE, or CRYSTAL for more info.

MEMBERSHIP/DUES: We currently have 47 members! Please make your prorated check made payable to Prescott Ukulele Guild. Some people do not write checks — apparently! — so we will accept EXACT cash but please be sure to get a receipt.
BYLAWS: The Bylaws for PUG have been updated and will be posted on the website under “about us”. There is information concerningsubgroups in there so you will want to read them.
